How to Install mysql-server software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

mysql-server software package provides MySQL database server (metapackage depending on the latest version), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install mysql-server

mysql-server is installed in your system.

Make ensure the mysql-server package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mysql-server *

You will get with mysql-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
